New ItaKisa fanfic

And no, it's not yaoi. It's the sequel to the first "Shoes" fic and finally it's here!

Check it out: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4554205/1/In_Your_Shark_Shoes

New Sherlock Holmes movie

Yep! You've read that right! And it's going to be directed by Guy Ritchie (whom I've never heard of). It's scheduled to be out by 2010. Shooting will start this fall.

It currently has two casts (as of now). Sherlock Holmes is played by Robert Downey, Jr. His friend and companion, Dr. Watson, will be played by Jude Law.

I'm just giddy with excitement to watch this flick especially now that I'm addicted to the world-famous sleuth. I hope that by the time the movie is released, the awareness that the greatest fictional detective the world has ever known is Mr. Sherlock Holmes who lived in 221B Baker Street, and not random anime characters. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's books just got clean off the shelves and I've seen some in rare occasions. But then, to Holmes there is still hope.

I wonder what Holmes himself would think of this...

How I wish the world would produce more detectives like the chain-smoking, cocaine addict Sherlock Holmes. :D

Ciao for now~

moi supports 2 new pairings

Oh yes! The Rurouni Kenshin fever has got into me and has penetrated my mind. Haha. Here comes the first pairing: Sanosuke Sagara and Megumi Takani.
Well then, I may be opposed to the whole Temari and Shikamaru thing but this one's an exception. They're clearly made for each other and they suit each other well, so... And so. It's just them. The moment I laid eyes on the two of them together, I knew the sparks would fly. Although no indication of them being together forever was mentioned, I seriously believe that Sano came back from his trip, took her in his arms, and whispered words of love and asked her if she wanted to be Mrs. Sagara and be with him forever... Oh yes... I can see it already...
Major booboo: Megumi is older by three years (her 22 to Sano's 19)

Second pairing is, of course, Kenshin Himura and Kaoru Kamiya. Now what would RK be without this pairing? This is the heart and soul of the whole series <3! You just got to love this! Again, it was pairing at first sight. They are totally made for each other and in the end they actually marry and have a (sad to say, kinda rebellious) son named Kenji! Yay~
Major booboo: Kenshin is waaaaaaaay older (his 28 to Kaoru's 17 -> 11 year age gap)

Compliments, my dear?

Oh yes! Quite another happy day has passed. And else? I have been complimented... Haha.

Well, as always (though I might never have mentioned it here), I have been yet again called the younger one. My sister was in 3rd year and a 1st year student thought I was the one in 3rd year while my younger sister was in 4th year... Well, get it? Haha.

Anyway, there have been many times when I have been thought of as young. A kid once told me that I looked like a ten year old... Which could be true. *winkie* Of all these times, I never freaked out. Like duh! Who would want to freak out when you're called a ten year old and you're actually 15?

Point here? The exuberance of youth, as Lee is wont to say. I guess we have it in us, all of us. It's something God gave us and we ought to be proud of it...

Well... Can't really say that I look young but, as Kuya Micael once said, it's hard being cute. :D

El Fili

We watched a play last night, the first one I've ever been to after living 15 years! Can you imagine that? But the play was nice and my cousin was there! Really swell! They were really good and the director, Tony Mabesa, was there. Consolation~ Anyway, there were three people there whom I knew well and they acted nice and good... :D Will be happy to see more of these plays in the future. I hope in one of them, I would get to act as someone... And make good work of it, too. :D

Well then, see you sometime... Must watch Bubble Gang and... Moymoy palaboy...

Of funerals and late nights

Yes, another family member has passed away. It was rather sad and... Lonely, nowadays. We were never really close but the feeling of knowing he was there was very comforting. Now, however, I guess those days are done. But then, we have the hope that he is in Heaven now with God and grandma, looking down on us and waiting for us...

Yes, the past week had been a busy one but not a thing am I complaining about in this post. It was lovely, after all, in a sort of way.

Well then, to Tito Joey... Farewell and we all bid you adieu. We are coming soon. :D

Mistress Pat - Finished!

After three grueling days, I have finally finished Mistress Pat. Oh yes, it had only run for 277 pages. I have noticed that Montgomery's writing style has diminished a bit and has gone on with a modern vibe. Or is it because I haven't read a Montgomery book for a month? Probably the latter...

Anyway, the story was cute but Pat is still hateful to me. Too addicted to houses. However, I liked the ending. Finally, they've been married and engaged. Oh, the joy of Jing-- err, Hilary Gordon! And what a scrumptiously glorious house they must have! I want a house near the shore... Well, my Hilary, you've read, I hope...

The only thing I didn't like about it was Judy's passing. It was expected to come but... There's still a little hollow ache.

Tokyo Marble Chocolate

Aww... Another swoon-worthy anime all otakus would love...

There are only two episodes. Actually, it's an OVA. But it's pretty cool. Really.

Basically, it's a little love story between Chizuru and Yuudai. During their previous love lives, the two of them had been unlucky in finding that "perfect" partner. Now, the two of them are dating... So... What'll happen?.. Only one way to find out~

What makes it good is that the story is told in two perspectives: the girl's and the boy's. I greatly recommed the boy's perspective since, for me, it's cuter and more romantic. And, oh, there's also a mini-donkey in it~

Frankly, it has no connection to marbles nor chocolate but it's sweet and really smooth story line will have you wanting for more... :D

New book - Mistress Pat by L.M. Montgomery

Finally~ I've found the sequel for Pat of Silver Bush! Same as always, found it in Booksale for only 60 pesos. That's pretty cheap, actually... Anyway, Pat is twenty and Hilary... Well, I haven't read it yet but I'll give it a shot tomorrow. See you till then~

Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora ~looking at the half moon in the sky~

Bring on tissues! This six-episode anime will make you laugh, fall in love, and break your heart as you watch Yuuichi and Rika's love story...

Anyway, this is one cool anime. It also has a live-action series... So far, I've only watched the live-action series (haven't finished it yet). Can't watch the anime 'cause the links don't work... An anime magazine introduced it to us and it's really good. I recommend for those who have grown tired of waiting for new Naruto or Bleach episodes every week and wants to try something new. It's simple but the message is strong.

See ya~

Gundam 00 Season 2

(ooh... Would you look at them? All grown up and over 20... So cute...)
The much awaited Season 2 is still two months away and I'm already dying... with joy. Mizushima-san says that there's a "new" Lockon. (Yay!) Though it's no longer the beloved Neil Dylandy, I'm sure that it's going to be his twin brobro Lyle Dylandy. Go on boy and do your thang! Avenge your bro like craziiee! Kill 'em! Shoot 'em and chop them!!! Bwahahahahaha! Oops... Sorry for that. Anyway, the Tieria Erde look-alike in the credits of Episode 25 was someone (is it a he or a she? That person is so cute you'd never know...) named Regene Regette. I have a strong feeling it's Tieria. You know... 'Cause he has this special thing with Lockon (and no, it's not YAOI) and he might want to get the same hairstyle or something (Idolatry, Regene?). Next up is that Setsuna, Allelujah, and Tieria will be back, with the Celestial Being team of course (although Lichty, Chris, and the doc are goners). There's also a new character whose name starts with the letter M (was it Milaine or something?). She's the 14-year old daughter of Ian Vashti, the engineer. Lasse Aeon is back~!! And so is Felt Grace (some spell her name Feldt... is that a silent D?)~!! I hope Sumeragi is back too... But... There's... That pesky, lil brat who kissed Setsuna (Marina-chan!!!!!): Nena Trinity. Why didn't she just explode like her brobros did? Ooh... Libbonze Almanck (Ribbons Armanck to others) is back with some peeps who are like him... And he calls himself the Innovator. The three world powers are also united (Tribulation, anyone?). And, oh... The trademark masked man is back! Introducing... (I really think it's him because of the hair) Graham Acre~~~!! Yay~ Where's Billy? Hmm... The 2nd trailer for Season 2 is nice and cute... Very cute... Maybe too cute... :D

The only thing I didn't like about it is that there's this four year gap and that's pretty long. Like... Lockon (or Lyle...) was 24 years old in the first season and now he's 28!!! That is soooo old... Setsuna is 21. Allelujah is 24. Tieria is... well... Unknown. Sumeragi is over 30... Bah... They're soooo old. Haha... I wonder what happened to Marina Ismail...

That's all for now. Toodles.

Oh, and one more thing. UVERworld might sing the OST for Season 2. That is sooo nice! Their hits include Colors of the Heart (Blood+) and D-technolife (Bleach).!!

Now... Au revoir!

Chapel Service

I liked our chapel service this morning. It was nice and I felt that the Spirit of God was really there and was hovering over us. There was this different feeling that you can't describe and it's just so good like you don't want to stop. It's just so exciting and I wish that every Friday was just like that. :D

T-R-O-U-B-L-E-S-O-M-E

Grr... How come boys are soooo troublesome? [No, Shikamaru... Don't worry you're not included.] Of course, not all boys are [with the obvious exception of my anime crushes, Alexandru Bodnar, Japanese actors, and my relatives]... I meant some of the boys in my class. They're not gentlemen and are not very refined. How could some girls ever learn to love them? They spell trouble with a capital T. Why, you ask? When my friends and I are laughing hard [because of some reason their stupid brains will never understand], they keep on reprimanding us while when they're noisy we don't care about them and just shut up in one corner and try to read books [which we can't focus on because of their noise]! Plus they always ask us why they're the only ones who clean. We always answer them back by saying that they're the only ones who trash the room like crazy while we just sit on our chairs studying. Then they begin to sneer at us and mutter... But it's true! Them stupid creatures... I've always wanted to say something to them... I'm only restraining myself. Gah... Hope I get the chance to tell them someday...

Oh well... Boys are troublesome.

Bob Ong

Wow... This author is incredible. He writes in an informal way but addresses serious issues like corruption and seriously wrong subtitles. So far, he's my favorite Filipino author.

Actually, I've never really gotten that urge to read Tagalog books. I've grown up thinking that the only existing Tagalog books are those thin erotic books where the cover consists mostly of a woman and a man together. Yes, Pinoy love stories. I thought they were the only Tagalog books. But when my best friend introduced Bob Ong's books to me, I was simply flabbergasted. They were Tagalog and... They were hilarious! Something of a rare find. To me.

The first BO book I read was ABNKKBSNPLko!?. That's when I became enthralled with BO's style of writing. Simple. Cute. Funny. Ang Paboritong Libro ni Hudas was second. Bakit Baliktad Magbasa Ng Libro Ang Mga Pilipino? followed just a few days later and, most recently, Stainless Longganisa. All the books I've read were hilarious but were brimming with sense that nobody but a self-proclaimed "Bobong Pinoy" with an IQ of 135 (or possibly higher) and believes that the evolution of language came from sundot-kulangot could think of. Bob Ong is simply amazing.

He may not that famous now but I know someday he will be. I'll keep hoping that he will because all the Filipinos just have to know what Bob Ong has to say.

Sherlock Holmes

I'm loving Sherlock Holmes right now! I bought my first Sir Arthur Conan Doyle book last week for 4o pesos and it's so good! Mr. Holmes is such a good detective! He really uses his brains! Gah... I want more~!

This week was...

This week was cool. I'm doing really well in Physics and I just passed my center of gravity project. Too bad I forgot to take a picture of it... But I will! When my teacher gives them back.

Math is great. I am enjoying the critical thinking and stuff. It surprises even me.

Economics. Just one word. Boring.

English is super! I'm having my friends over tomorrow afternoon for Troy. We're going to review the movie. What makes it super is also the fact that we're studying Greek mythology. Cool, huh?

The other subjects are well enough and good.

Our UPCAT applications are in but I have to pay 450 pesos to my friend cause she paid for the fee... Haha.

Just bought another L.M. Montgomery book for (gasp!) 30 pesos in Booksale: Pat of Silver Bush. I also saw Cornelia Funke's Thief Lord, Wizard of Oz, Charlotte's Web, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and William Shakespeare's As You Like It. Too bad I don't have enough moolah. Oh well, there's always a next time.

My latest fanfic, When the Piper Pipes, has earned 8 reviews, 3 favorites, and 3 alerts. It currently has 5 chapters. Right now, I'm writing the sixth chapter...

Number of books owned has risen to 62. Yay!

That would be all for now.

Of Physics, UPCAT, and hair

OMG! I can't believe it! I am actually enjoying Physics! Truth be told, I enjoy subjects where I excel in. Turns out I was good in formula transformations and problem solving. Conversion isn't a problem too. I hope this continues until the end of the school year.

Some of my classmates and I are going to take the UPCAT. I am aiming for U.P. Diliman since it's the only university that offers Journalism (out of all the branches of U.P.). However, it's one of the hardest universities to get into. I hope I pass and be part of the top 50... OMG! This takes a lot of prayer!

Yes, you read the title right. Hair. My two best friends had their hair straightened. Haha.

Ooh... NCAE. The review today was sort of troublesome. Haha. Our teacher said that there was this Clerical test where you answer 100 items in 3 minutes. I was like, "Oh!" and my mouth just opened all by itself. Unfortunately, he was looking my way and said that his expression was the same as mine when he heard that... Oh... Haha. Currently, I had a 36 out of 50 in Error Analysis and 18 out of 25 in Science.

New fanfic

I have a new fanfic up. It's called, "When the Piper pipes" and it tackles the story of Konoha going to war and all the men being called. Then they leave their loved ones behind and... Well... You get the point. As usual, it's InoShika. I just can't help it. I don't know how to write stories for other couples other than theirs. I've tried my hand in others but they weren't as good so... Yeah. But I'll try very hard to write an ItachiOC fic. Anyway, here's the link if you want to read it:

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4318007/1/When_the_Piper_pipes

Right now, it has 2 reviews from Drew-chan and sad little monkey, 2 favorites, and 2 story alerts. Hope there'll be more by next week. I'm putting a lot of effort in this one 'cause I haven't written a story as long as this one. The first chapter alone had 3,200+ words in it. I hope I finish it.

Oh well... That's all for now. See you.

First day of school

Yes... June 10, 2008... One of the days I didn't feel like going to school... Why? It's the first day of school... Anyway, here's a little something on what happened...

Can you ever believe it? There were 63 new students in our school. 63!!! That is quite alarming, you know? 'Cause nobody ever enrolls... Haha. Just joking. It's just unusual that we got this two-digit number... Anyway, as you can guess, most of them are Koreans. But... Can you believe it? out of 63 new students, we didn't have any new classmates! As in none! None! Is this a curse? A punishment? A sign that we should atone for our sins? Let me tell you, dear readers... That it sucks to not have any new people around you. The faces of one's classmates just seem old and dusty from too much staring.

I'm psyched for the NCAE. I'm not psyched for the CAT. Can you believe it? We are officially (and it's mandatory) going to have CAT on Saturdays... Every Saturday! I can just imagine myself falling on my butt...

No!!! I saw him again today... The heck of a person he is to not transfer! Grr!

I don't know if I sh0uld be rejoicing or not but Joshua told me a while ago that I was the Student Council President and he was nothing... What??? Joshua??? Nothing??? Unbelievable! But you just had to believe and accept it. Also, the school publication will be on fire again and I plan to join. Oh yes! The seat of Editor-in-Chief!!! Here I come!!!

Now this sucks... I figure I'd be the class treasurer again... Gah!

What's good is that I saw my best friends again. It's so nice to talk to them again after two months of no communication...

Yes! Our class adviser is our English teacher! Hurray!

What??? There's HighSchool Night??? *faints*

We're going to review for the NCAE every day for one hour after class...

OMG!!! Nothing... Just felt like typing it in too...

Anyway, there it is... Random rants. Bwahahaha...

See you!

In Your Shoes - Finished!

Yes! Finally! My latest fanfiction has ended! Here's the URL if you would like to read it:

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4270783/1/In_Your_Shoes

It had a total of 45 reviews as of now.

Romeo x Juliet

Finally! I'm finished watching the anime series Romeo x Juliet. It was 24 episodes long and it took me around a month to finish because of sheer laziness (Grr...).

Episode 24 was veeery sad... *sobs* But at least they fulfilled their vow and were together eternally... Neo Verona is much more beautiful now... Francisco and Tybalt are much more cuter now~!! Antonio is a young man now and he's waay cuter than before...

Hmm... It's a bye-bye to one of the best animes I've watched so far.

Whoa! Outburst!

"I don't think Kuya Micael is abandoning his duties or whatsoever... Everybody needs a break and he needs it.Do you know why KHQ is suffering like this? It's because of the stubborness of some (I didn't say all) of the KHQ members. It's because they don't know when to stop when they're told. It's because they don't know how to listen.Do you think being a mod is that easy?Of course it isn't! It requires giant responsibility! And it's because of the responsibility that he's taking a break."

This was what I said in a post in "Aqua Mudkip's Staff Report". I've been wanting to say that for ever so long and here it is. Yay! Yes, it's one part happiness but two parts sadness. For one, I'll be stuck in warfare (fun!) and the other is the possibility of KHQ members hating me forever. Haha... Whatever... We'll see... :D

Updates

Wednesday - We went to Divine Shepherd Medical Center at around 5PM to take Mom there. She'll spend the night there since her operation is due at 7:30Am the next morning. The hospital was huge and most of it was white (as other hospitals are). I like the inside pretty well. Some of the corridors have their lights turned off (maybe because they're cutting expenses). There weren't a lot of patients in. Mom was taken into ward with 6 beds. Fortunately, there were no patients there and we had the room all to ourselves. It was like we had a private room. My sister and I didn't sleep there. My dad did. We were taken home by my aunt. Before going home, we bought some food because it was the birthday of one of my aunts. We had ice cream, fried chicken, and some bread.

Thursday - Mom had her operation. My sister and I arrived there at around 11AM but she wasn't in the ward yet so we waited for an hour, at least. When she came in she was all pale. It's like she wasn't herself... But she was alright. This day is the hardest since she had to stay in bed all day, complaining of a headache because of the anesthesia. We stayed there until 9PM, then we left.

Friday - My sister and I went to the hospital again at around 10AM. Mom was due to go home this day. She could walk around now and eat. She couldn't eat on Thursday and she was very hungry... We went home at around noon.

Saturday - We're all at home... It's been raining heavily the whole week... I hope it won't rain on 24 *wink*... There was a black out earlier but it's alright now...

Fancy that! I've missed blogging... Ta-ta for now.

Honest month - Over

So so... I knew it. Honest month was broken in just a few days... Always expected this. It was working at first (kudos to Kuya Micael for the idea) but it looks like someone broke it. Need to get to the bottom of this...

More KHQ-ers to take care of

Recently, I adopted two more KHQ-ers: iWumbo and nickelodoen_guru. iWumbo is a good son. He's really fun. I haven't had much PM-ing with nickelodoen_guru but she's a Narnia fan so that's good to hear and... She likes Reepicheep! Reepicheep is just cute... (Don't you think?)

Anyway, I have three children now: frustrated_wolf, iWumbo, and nickelodoen_guru.

Happy Mother's Day <3

Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies out there! I wish you love and blessings in your life~!!

We had a busy day in church today. The Sunday School kids sang "Oh, happy day" and danced "Jesus is my Superhero" for their mothers. Bunny planters (with plastic flowers) and personalized hand towels were given away to the mothers.

During the afternoon, we had VBS. About 8 or 10 students were absent in our class. But still, it was fun. The friendship story of David and Jonathan was pretty cool to me. It isn't easy being in a situation like theirs and they prevailed with the help of God. It's truly a inspiring story. The kids seemed to have fun, which is the most important thing. They brought home small banners with the words, "God's power is unshakeable" written on them. During the last Assembly time, there was a Q&A about the day's lesson and everyone enjoyed. Yay~

After church (at about 5:30PM), we went to SM Clark to celebrate Mother's Day. We ate in French Baker. While waiting for the food to be served, my sister and I went to Booksale. Imagine my frustration when I saw new Anne books: Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Avonlea, Anne of the Island, Anne's House of Dreams, Anne of Ingleside, and Rilla of Ingleside! Alas! We spent four to five months rummaging for those books in Booksale and this one time... But anyway, I didn't find any other L.M. Montgomery books. I did see a Hardy Boys book but I'm not interested in it so I didn't buy it. There was also a new issue of Candy out but I didn't buy it 'cause money is short. I'll probably buy it next month (T_T).

The day has been pretty good to me. :D

"The happiest countries, like the happiest women, have no history," said Dean.
"I hope I'll have a history," cried Emily. "I want a thrilling career."
"We all do, foolish one. Do you know what makes history? Pain - and shame - and rebellion - and bloodshed and heartache. Star, ask yourself how many hearts ached - and broke - to make those crimson and purple pages in history that you find so enthralling..."

And it looks like a part of my history has begun. Secrets have been uncovered and my heart is in the depths of despair. I feel sadness fathoms and fathoms deep, something you could never unearth. It's very tiresome. I feel different, as if there is something alien within me.

She never told us, never meant to until today. Maybe it was better if we never knew because it hurt much. I never knew the situation weighed this heavy...

But after all, the smile is always there to hide your pain and sorrow in. So we must smile, after all.

But we must still trust in God no matter what happens. We must give it all to Him, entrust our very lives and will to Him and Him alone.

Finished: Emily of New Moon

After some time, I've finally finished reading Emily of New Moon. It actually took long, for me. Usually, it takes me only a day to finish an L.M. Montgomery novel... I've finished Anne of the Island in 5 hours straight.

Anyway, the ending was nice and I liked Ilse best. She is such a sweet, charming girl. I imagine she's awfully pretty.

I can't wait to read (and find) Emily Climbs.

New Book: Emily of New Moon

Yay! Finally after ages I bought a new book: L.M. Montgomery's Emily of New Moon, the first in the Emily novels. It cost 70 pesos in Booksale (Hey, where's the better deal?). I also found the second book, Emily Climbs, but, unfortunately, money was short. I also saw Gary Paulsen's Brian's Winter. It cost only 15 pesos and I doubt if I'll find one again because I didn't buy it. I also found two video tapes of Anne of Green Gables for 50 pesos but didn't buy it...

Anyway, Emily of New Moon is a story about an orphan girl named Emily Byrd Starr. After her father's death from consumption, the Murrays, her mother's family, decides to adopt her. She is then taken to New Moon Farm. On the care of her stern Aunt Elizabeth.

I'm in Chapter 8 right now and I'll post back when I'm done. Ta-ta for now.

Romeo X Juliet

I started watching Romeo X Juliet last week and I am in love with it! Totally! I absolutely love the opening song, "Inori ~ You Raise Me Up ~", sang by Korean-American singer, Lena Park. It's the Japanese cover for the song "You Raise Me Up".

The setting looks like Europe in the past. It's actually a country in the sky called Neo Verona. The people are divided into two: nobility and the commonpeople. The nobility is composed of the House of Lords. Neo Verona is ruled by a Duke and the titled is passed on to the heir (in this case, it's Romeo Candore Van To Montague).

The characters are nicely drawn. I love Francisco and Benvolio. Romeo is charming and Juliet is very pretty. I find the storyline nice and easy to understand.

I very much recommended this anime to any otaku. It's good to watch and, even though it doesn't follow Shakespeare's original plot, the story is played out nicely.

What happened today...

We stayed the whole day on church today. We had a regular service on the morning and VBS in the afternoon. It's really quite tiring since I'm not feeling well at all after we ran in the rain last night. I can feel a fever coming and my nose is stuffy. Anyway, we had a great day and everyone was cooperative. Aries was well-behaved but he kept going in and out of the room so we always had to tag along behind him. He usually went to Sis. Pia's room because his older brother is there. Duane was sick this afternoon but he still went. Several students were absent. Rafael was reported to have been sick. Today's lesson was about Queen Esther. They danced the song, "Sidekicks" during Assembly time today...

The Agent Preps are doing well but we got a demerit because they kept going in and out of the room (usually to pee). The Mightors also got a demerit because they didn't do well during the yells. Only the Defenders got a merit because they were well-behaved (they were aged 10-12).

The kids had Fudgee Bars and juice for snacks. We, the staff, got pancit, sandwiches, and juice. It was all good.

Added new content

Yay! Finally... After a grueling hour and a half, I've finally finished it! If you will notice, I've added a collection of fanlistings I joined... I deleted some of it because the sites weren't working. I've added a few (mostly Gundam 00). Tieria Erde's fanlisting isn't there because the site wasn't working. I'll check it out again in a week or two.

That would be all for now. Ta-ta!

Less reason to rejoice

It came from Seiji Mizushima (director of Gundam 00) directly. It was posted on Lockon's page in Wikipedia. He is considered KIA (Killed in action). I hope not... There is still hope, right? I mean, it's just the director and not the manga-ka... But I'm really worried... What if-- No, we must keep faith, no matter what.

Patrick Corlasawar is still alive. Alejandro Corner is really dead. Ali Al Saachez is alive. Graham Acre survived the blast and is now wearing a mask, a Gundam series trademark (Gundam SEED had Rau Le Creuset, Gundam SEED Destiny had Neo Roanoke)... It was only Hallelujah who died. Allelujah and Tieria are MIA (Missing in action). No news on Setsuna. Marina's handmaid left her for unknown reasons. Livonze calls himself the Innovator. Lasse Aion can still be alive. I hope all of them are safe. When October comes rolling in, I'll be afraid to watch it. But right now I'm giddy with suspense...

All this information came from Wikipedia. It's mostly accurate but I hope the bit about Lockon isn't... No offense on that...

Gundam 00 - Episode 25

More reason to rejoice! Episode 25 was a great episode, in spite of Episode 24. I can't wait for October to come rolling in! The ending of Season 1 seemed better than I thought. Season 2 will start on 2312 AD, four years after Season 1. Tieria has gotten a new haircut which is similar to Lockon's. Louise cropped her hair short and Saji is working in space. Celestial Being is still very much alive. Livonze Almanck has created an Alliance of his own. The world has united into one. Graham Acre is still alive but looks like he has a mask on (result of his fight with Setsuna). A mystery character has been shown with brown hair. I think it's Alejandro Corner. Ena thinks its Ali Al Sarshees but we're hoping it's Lockon Stratos. Happy! No news about Allelujah. Nena Trinity seems to be part of the "good" side now. She's working with Wang Liu Mei. There are sort of hints that Setsuna is still alive. The Exia is still there, renamed and resupplied. It's now named 00. There's also a new 0 Gundam... Can't wait for Season 2!!!

Setsuna F. Seiei left a question on my mind because of what he said... "Why are there people who rule, and those who are being ruled? In spite of this, why are people living as they are?"...

Allelujah Haptism also called Soma Peiris the name Marie. She seems to be part of his past and his other half, Hallelujah, knows about this. However, at the end, Hallelujah said goodbye to Allelujah. I think he's not dead... :D

Casualties of war

So much things have been going on in Gundam 00 and we didn't have knowledge of it until yesterday wherein my sister watched episodes 21-23. It's really sad to hear that Lockon's right eye was injured while defending his fellow Gundam Meister, Tieria Erde, from Patrick Corlasawar's (AEU) attack. But it's sadder still to know that he could have met his end... He had been fighting Ali Al Sarshees, KPSA's leader, using his Gundam Dynames when another mobile suit intervened which led to the Dynames's disability. He then fled from his mobile suit and ordered Haro to take the Dynames back to Ptolemaios. He connected his gun to Dynames's sniper and shot down Ali's mobile suit. However, it is unconfirmed whether he's alive still or not. Then, the platform where Lockon was standing exploded, sending him flying. Following these events was Setsuna's arrival from Earth. He saw Lockon floating in space and was about to fly to him when suddenly, the GN Arms exploded. When the smoke cleared, there was no Lockon in sight. However, there is still one flicker of hope. It is unconfirmed whether Lockon is deceased or not. Then there is still reason to rejoice.

However, there are more deaths. In Episode 24, the ship Ptolemaios was attacked by a battle ship with imitation solar reactors and the remaining enemy mobile suits. Alejandro Corner is piloting the battle ship. Lasse Aion and Setsuna F. Seiei have engaged in a fight with him. Tieria and Allelujah/Hallelujah are battling the mobile suits. Nadleeh (Tieria) succeeded in eliminating Patrick Corlasawar, losing both of Nadleehs's legs and head. He then floats away. Hallelujah takes control of the Kyrios and turns into a killing machine, annihilating everything in its path. One of Kyrios's legs seemed severed. Every now and then, the battle ship (Alejandro Corner) releases a particle beam which looks similar to GENESIS from SEED. He targets the Ptolaemaois. Sumergai, Felt, and Ian are riding on a smaller assault ship and desperately fires at the oncoming mobile suits. However, they miss one which goes straight to Ptolemaios and fires its gun. Seeing the danger, Lichtendahl Caeli floats to Christina Sierra and envelops her in an embrace so he could protect her. His right arm and a portion of his hip were severed in the attack. He dies in Christina's arms. Meanwhile, Sumeragi tries to contact them and catches Christina's voice. Christina says her last words to Felt Grace and dies (stabbed on the back). Lichtendahl's last words were, "No kidding... No... kid...". He was referring to Christina when she said that there had been a "good man" beside her all along, only to not notice it. Christina's last words were, "Please change the world.".

Also adding to the death toll is Kinue Crossroad, Saji Crossroad's older sister. Louise Halevy lost her left hand due to an attack from the Trinity Thrones. Michael and Johann Trinity have also died. Nena's whereabouts are unknown for now.

So much dying and hurting... My mind can't take it. War is horrible. Deaths can't be prevented. Who likes war anyway? And why does it happen? No one wills it and yet it comes to us like the Pied Piper, as Walter Blythe often described it. Perhaps it will come to us soon... Or maybe sooner than we imagine. It could be knocking right now at our very doors. Surprisingly, though, I find no tears for them in me, not even for Lockon Stratos... Only a sadness, a deep, aggravating sadness that tears at your soul. It hurts so... Perhaps true war would hurt equally, no, maybe more... But one thing is certain, we can all do something about it. We can all help prevent this horrible future from happening... Through our prayers.

Busy busy busy!

We had VBS (Vacation Bible School) in church yesterday. My feet hurt from all the standing up and running after kids. But all in all, it was a fun experience. The children learned how to dance the theme song for this year, Sidekicks. It's a fun dance actually, even if the choreography is a bit kiddy. I especially liked our students. We're called the Agent Preps and I'm the Deputy Captain. Isn't that nice? For once I'll be called Deputy Captain. I enjoyed interacting with Alona and Mark Joshua. Alona was the first to call me teacher because she found a piece of bubblegum stuck on her table. You wouldn't know how excited I was when I heard her call me teacher! Oh, I thought Mark Joshua how to properly color a picture because he was having a little difficulty about it. Surprisingly, though, Aries is well-behaved and did not hurt any of his classmates. That was refreshing, at least. We had macaroni and sandwiches for our merienda. When Sis. Susan said that there was food, one of the students asked, "Teacher, may bayad po ba?" I was touched by it. Even a kid was burdened by the problems of our government! Anyway, it was great to see their contented faces eating all that macaroni. Some of them didn't finish their food and took some home. It was a great experience.

After VBS, we went to MB Dream Resort and met with our relatives (mother's side) there. We swam until about 12AM and didn't sleep until 2AM. However, I woke up at 8AM and wasn't able to sleep again so I went to my cousin's cottage and we spent our time waiting there. At about 9AM, we went swimming. Gosh! I presume my swimming has improved! Some of my cousins couldn't swim so they just stuck on to the sides and never to the deep parts. Haha! It was really fun to see my little cousins desperately trying to learn how to swim. Anyway, we went out of the water by 11:30AM. Places in between my legs are red and sore. I think I've got sunburn. They hurt... I guess that's all for now.

I'm currently playing as Bulbasaur in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. Ja mata!

Today in school

Our airconditioner broke down in school a while ago and it was freakin' hot. It started in Geometry class (which is 1:00PM) and continued until AP (or History class in America or some other place). Geometry was cool and we had a new lesson which is 'The Slope of a Line'. Our teacher gave us an assignment and I was trying to solve it for a very long time (an hour or two actually but that's long enough) and I haven't figured it out yet. My brain is just going whack over the problems and I can't get it right. The light was sort of dim but that's not the problem. I was concentrating well enough even if I'm watching American Idol while doing my assignment. Oh well, I'll just ask my classmates tomorrow about it. I'm kind of wondering if they're going through the same mind torture... Well, anyway, Filipino was easy. We played Mario Kart DS all throughout the time because our teacher was out and she was kind enough to give us free time. Mario Kart DS was a great game and I enjoyed Rainbow Road and Bowser's (or Browder's) Castle. It was all a bit like Crash Bandicoot only smaller. However, it was still great. And because of that, I almost forgot to review for our test in History class about the Spanish and Portugal feud about exploration. Fortunately, though, I got past through it with a 23 over 25. The second mistake was really stupid of me not to notice because it was a spelling problem. And I was supposed to be good in spelling because I was a Spelling Bee champion before! Hello? I could've seen that. Anyway, after that, because it was super hot we went outside. The Sophomores were in the Fire Exit playing volleyball. If you were wondering, the Fire Exit is a big grassy place with a playground and a volleyball court. It has very high walls and a huge gate on one side. Anyway, as I was saying, they were playing volleyball and they invited us, the Juniors, to a friendly match (which we deduced we'd win). The game had three rounds, with us winning the 1st, losing the 2nd, and finally winning the third. We were simply ecstatic with joy even if we didn't get to play (I wanted to but the boys got to play first) because we were our class' cheerleaders. Actually, there were only three of us - my two best friends (and fellow bookworms) and I. It was fun, though.
The fun part came, however, when class was dismissed. Yeah, I know dismissal is fun but it's not exactly that. Dad was driving an owner-type jeep. I don't know if they got that on other countries but here in the Philippines we sure got lots of them! In case you don't know what it looks like, I'll sort of describe it for you. The jeep is small (kind of like the stuff you see in the military only it's shorter). It's a top-down sort of vehicle (I don't really know if that's the correct term for that but I guess you'd understand). The back part is mostly bare and there are only two seats and they're in front. Half of the back part was not really shaded so the sun came and shone down on the jeep. My sister and I liked to sit there and Dad allowed us so we sat there for the rest of the ride home. It was fun even if I could feel the sun beating down on my back. The people we passed were cool and it's refreshing to see people doing stuff they should do. It's really nice to ride on a owner-type jeep. Some people think it's absolutely cheap but if you really experienced the ride (as in really experienced and not just for the sake of riding it) you'll find out it's really sort of cool and fun. I loved it! Well, as they say, the littlest things in life are the ones that give us happiness.
That's it all for now. I hope to write more soon. Buh-bye!
P.S. I've finished reading 'Anne of Ingleside' and is now starting to read 'Rainbow Valley'. I find Jem and Walter sweet and caramellistic...

The things that fascinate me...

I would like to return in the 1900s and walk around in Canada, or in Montgomery's make-believe Avonlea. I do think that the surroundings are lovely. The weather is so fine then, don't you think? Almost no pollution... I hope we lived in a world like that. If we could only turn the strands of time back... Oh, and the flowers! The flowers are humongously lovely in those parts! We bought some flowers a while ago (a gumamela and bougainvilleas - I don't think I spelled that right... ). Someday when I have my own house I'd like it to have a really wide space for a garden and there'd be roses in it! Oh, lovely white and blood-red roses! I'd have them all around! My sister asked Dad if a house really needs a garden. He says that even a garden inside would be necessary and beautiful. I think that would be more convenient since it saves space but... The very thought of having lilies, daisies, and roses in pots inside your house! Simply unthinkable! That would be so un-romantic, as red-headed Anne Shirley would put it. When I have my garden I'd have it outside, with landscaping of course. And then the butterflies would come all year round and the air will be full of their sweetness (or caramellistic sweetness). Oh how lovely it will be! The very thought of it makes my heart leap with uncontainable joy. Nothing would suffice me as to see a very beautiful rose garden. I dread vegetable gardens because the fat catterpillars would rummage all over it and that'd be unbearable for me. I have a fear of bugs but not much as to scream whenever I see one.
However, what I don't like about the 1900s was that they didn't have cars. Cars are such fascinating things, don't you think? Really, I'd like to have a BMW someday but Dad is stating the obvious that we won't have a chance to buy one so I'm not keeping my hopes at it. It would be too troublesome to keep on hoping for nothing. There is one thing I could hope for, though. It would be to live for all eternity beside my Savior whom I live for to serve. The worst case scenario would be to stand in His presence only to be judged to go to Hell.
You could have noticed that I have been writing in my blog more than ever. It's because dear Anne Shirley (or Mrs. Anne Blythe, for that matter) has been imploring my literate mind to write and write and write. I would like it very much if I could keep a notebook with me at all times with which I could write all my thoughts into, only I don't have such a trusty notebook. But I'll find one, at least. Then it won't give me a guilty feeling to open the computer every single day. That's it for now!

Today is a happy day

Today is a very happy day for me! It's not because I saw Danny's pics again. It's not because I watched my favorite anime show... There are a million tons of things why this day is a very happy one for me but I will focus on two main things. First of all, I've finally recited all of our memory verses for this year (PBA - Pastor's Bible Award). That's a lot of memorization, you know? Now, I've got at least something out of my mind. Second, I've finally completed our collection of "Anne" books! I've finally bought "Anne of Ingleside" by L.M. Montgomery for 70 pesos in BookSale. It was just sitting there in all of its glory in the shelf and I managed to chance upon it. It was like finding a needle in a haystack! These books are really rare these days that's why I value them so much. I'll start reading it tomorrow in school.

Finally! Those are two loads out of my mind! See you next time!

What I like about today...

The trees in this season are perfectly lovely and I simply adore them! They are so green and fresh and young and inviting! The air is delicious with their scent and because it is cool these days. I have been woken up twice last night because of the cold. Even at times when it should be burning hot, the air is still cool. It gives me shivers whenever I wash my hands and let them dry.

I liked school today because two of the notorious people in our class got scolded... Haha.

That would be all for now.

P.S. Prom was great! Check out our pics in my Friendster profile.
