I just bought this from Booksale a while ago. It's a very nice book. Very dramatic and scary. It describes what happened during the bombing of Hiroshima in 1945 through the eyes of Dr. Michihiko Hachiya. He himself was wounded during the assault.
I've read only up to the second day but the events that are unfolding are so horrible that something like this should never ever happen again. The results are just devastating.
